Gordon Livingstone is Finance Director and Member of the Board

Gordon joined the Board of Bluebox Aviation Systems Ltd in 2022, having joined the Management team in 2021 to assume leadership of Finance activities.

Gordon has over 30 years’ experience in operating and managing financial functions. He graduated from The University of Glasgow in 1991 with a Bachelor of Accountancy, and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994. After various roles in both public and private sector, Gordon became Finance Director for a start-up company, and found his passion for fast-growing SMEs.

Following a period in charge of the Telecoms’ division of Alfred McAlpine plc, Gordon moved to the US to embark on the One Year MBA program at Babson College, the #1 global university for Entrepreneurial Studies. He graduated Summa Cum Laude as Salutatorian, and was granted the MBA Leadership Award, having also served as One-Year MBA Class Representative and member of the MBA Student Council.

Gordon remained in the USA, based initially in New York as Finance Director of a property company and two food start-ups in Brooklyn, and then moved to Pennsylvania as part of a team who purchased a bottling and jarring facility. Having grown this business, Gordon sold his investment to a new team in 2019, and moved back to the UK, where he operated as a consultant FD/CFO for several small private businesses, until he joined the Bluebox team in 2021.

Gordon has significant experience in growing companies, and involvement in several M&A and restructuring activities, as well as creating and managing finance functions for SMEs. He has a passion for aviation and is excited about being a part of Bluebox Aviation Systems in this next exciting phase of its growth.
